The beginning of the musical path of Karolina Bnv as the kid of the 90s
sounds like a good old story – playing drums in a rock band in Novosibirsk
at school, starting to collect vinyl as a teenager, moving to the UK to get
her degree, buying her first Technics turntables in London, first gigs in
local clubs and organizing series of super popular HUMBUG parties and
etc.

5 years of living in the UK had a strong influence on Karolina’s musical
vision, while allowing her to get the best possible musical education.
Constant replenishment of her record collection and flawless taste led
Karolina Bnv to become a sought-after guest star DJ in both
Bournemouth and London, Berlin, Strasbourg, at various events and music
festivals throughout Europe, all over Russia, Belarus and Ukraine,
constantly sharing a stage with such artists as Anthony Rother, Broken
English Club, Delta Funktionen, DVS1, Portable aka BODYCODE, Kim
Ann Foxman, Detroit Swindle, Orson Wells, Kris Wadsworth, Tevo
Howard, Ben Ufo, Ancient Methods, Mono Junk, Umwelt, Hard Ton,
NGLY, Conforce, DRVG CVLTVRE, Fabio Monesi, dOP and others.
Karolina was also broadcasting her performances in her own radio show
“Time to Jack” while living in the UK.

Unusual was the sequence of establishment of an artist, first as an
international DJ then becoming popular back in Russia.
Performances at such radiosations, events and festivals as Red
Light Radio (Amsterdam), Rinse Fm (London), New New World Radio,
Worldwide FM, Bosco Fresh Fest, Beat Film Festival, Fashion Night Out,
Burning Man Decompression Moscow and etc. Karolina collaborated
with such worldwide famous brands as PRADA, Reebok, АУТЛО, Puma,
Adidas, Nike, Levi’s and etc. Known for her wide musical range, Karolina
Bnv’s sets include rarities from Acid / Chicago House and Detroit Techno
to Italo Disco, Electro and EBM.
